Whiterocks Trail

Whiterocks begins beside Highway 18 at the new parking lot (which can be accessed from the new road on the north side of the park) The trail crosses an open basalt field and dry creek bed before reaching a junction. A short spur enters the white sandstone cliffs and ends in the natural Whiterocks Amphitheater.

More About Whiterocks Trail

Expect uneven rock, deep sand, little shade, and some route-finding across slickrock. Dogs are not allowed on Whiterocks Trail. The amphitheater area is one of the park’s designated scrambling zones; use caution on steep rock. Whiterocks Amphitheatre is one of the coolest areas in the park – definitely worth visiting.

You can see Whiterocks Trail on our Snow Canyon map.
